At The Hawks, we pride ourselves on nurturing young talent and fostering a love for football within our community. Based in the heart of the beautiful regions of Dorset and Somerset, we have been the launching pad for youthful enthusiasm and football dreams since [Foundation Year].
We are thrilled to field competitive teams across various age groups, catering to young football enthusiasts from under 8s to under 15s. Our roster includes:
Each team competes in prestigious Dorset and Somerset affiliated leagues, showcasing their skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship. We’re also competitively priced in contrast to those larger town clubs whom are often full and turning children away from playing the game they love.
As a 1 Star accredited club, we uphold the highest standards in coaching and safety. All our coaches are fully DBS checked and qualified with FA Level 1 certifications, ensuring that your child receives top-tier training in a secure environment.
Our dedication to excellence was recognised when we were honoured as the Winner of the 2022/23 Grassroots Club of the Year. This accolade is a testament to the hard work of our players, the dedication of our coaches, and the unwavering support of our community. Our U11 Girls team manager was also awarded with his division’s manager of the year 2022.
Beyond the field, Maiden Newton Youth is a vibrant community hub. We host several fundraising and fun events throughout the year (bingo anyone?), fostering a sense of unity and purpose among our players, families, and supporters. Our annual tournament has become a sought-after event, attracting talent and spectators from across the region.
We believe in the power of experiences to inspire our young athletes. Therefore, we organize trips to watch professional clubs and national teams in action, offering our players a glimpse of football at the highest levels and fuelling their dreams.
